Area Community:
Spring Hill (population 78,500) is an unincorporated community within Hernando County (population about 150,000) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_Hill%2C_Florida .
It is one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S. The nearest city is Brooksville the county seat . It has a quaint downtown area with an old historical court house http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hernando_County,_Florida.
Each year the city reenacts the Brooksville Raid. A battle fought during the civil war.
It is one of the largest annual reenactments in the United States.

Expressway Access:
The Suncoast Toll Expressway makes going South to Tampa (35 minutes),
Clearwater (40 minutes), Sarasota (1½ hours) or
Naples (3 hours) a snap.
The Suncoast turns
into Veterans Toll Expressway heading South
and then
into US Expressway I-75.
Highly recommended is to buy a "Florida
Sun Pass" remote so that you do
not have to stop for toll booths
anywhere in the state.

Hernando County Airport is only are short 15 minute drive away.
Tampa International Airport (TPA) is a quick 45-60 minute drive on South Bound Suncoast Toll Expressway all the way.

Traffic:
Traffic around Hernando County is still at the suburban level.
It does get a little dense during morning and afternoon rush hour
however,
traffic is always moving.

Only a 15 minute drive away!
The closest cities are Brooksville and Weeki Wachi. Weeki
Wachi's official population which is about 14, houses Buccaneer Bay Water Park
home of the world famous Weeki Wachi Mermaids. The park also offers
wild animal show, a beach with life guards, shops, boat rides as alligators
swim by and giant water slides. Entry and exit is controlled.
Kids love to make a day of it and many parents can drop their older kids off
for the day.

Great Fishing
Spring Hill is booming and national name stores and restaurants are building at a rapid rate.
Nearby restaurants include; Red Lobster, Chilies, Out Back Steak House and many more.
Shopping Malls are within 30-40 minutes to the South. Large Malls include Gulf Coast Mall on Hwy 19 North of New Port Richey and Citrus Park Mall only about 40 minutes down the Suncoast Expressway. In addition, Brandon Mall is 55 minutes away.
Beaches:
Hernando Counties Beach is Pine Island located on the Gulf
Coast only 15 miles away.
Sandy beaches and a beach snack bar make it a local favorite. Entry and
exit for parking is controlled.
World famous Clearwater Beach with its white sand beaches is only about 45-50
minutes away via the Suncoast Expressway.
